Week of September 4-8, 2023
One week down and 35 weeks of instruction ahead! Thank you to each of you for all you did to make the best out of hard situations this week as we adjusted to the "new". I saw moments each day last week that confirmed that we have exactly what we need to meet the high academic and social emotional goals we have set for the year. I thought the quote above was appropriate because throughout the year we will have moments where we have accomplished a goal and are ready to celebrate but something new, different, or something we felt we were past will come back and remind us there is still work to do. That's where perseverance comes into play. Together we can accomplish BIG THINGS and SHINE BRIGHT this year. When one of us gets tired and needs to step away, someone come and tag in and take on the current short race so our colleague can rest up for the next. This can only be done with communication so find your safe places and let people know how they can support you. 35 more short races are all we have and I know by working together, combining our gifts, and keeping our students at the center of decision making we will win not only the race of perseverance but more importantly we will win the race of empowering all of our students to:
D - Dream Big
R - Reach Goals
E - Explore Opportunities and
S - Succeed in a Global Society.
Looking forward to another amazing week! - Angela

- If leaving campus during the day or early at the end of the day, please make sure administration is aware. If you know about this in advance, PLEASE EMAIL Dr. Hill. I will not remember everything you tell me and although I write info on my hands with Sharpie that doesn't always keep me well informed. This is for certified and classified staff and even if you will not need coverage you still will need to let administration know. Thanks!
