Optional Survey for PreK and K teachers...

Dear Dr. Hill,

I trust this email finds you well. My name is LaToya Stallings, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at East Carolina University. As part of my academic research, I am conducting a study on kindergarten readiness, focusing on understanding the perspectives of kindergarten teachers.

I am reaching out to request your assistance in distributing a brief kindergarten readiness survey to the kindergarten teachers in your school. The purpose of this survey is to gather valuable insights into the current state of kindergarten readiness and identify areas that may benefit from additional support and resources. The responses will be completely anonymous, ensuring the confidentiality of the participating teachers.

I have attached the survey document to this email for your convenience. If possible, could you please forward it to the relevant Pre-k and kindergarten teachers within your school and encourage their participation? The success of this research depends on the cooperation and insights of experienced educators like those in your esteemed institution.

Survey Distribution Details:

  • Survey Title: Kindergarten Readiness Survey
  • Distributor: LaToya Stallings, MPA Graduate Student, East Carolina University
  • Duration: 10 minutes

Please assure the teachers that their responses will remain confidential, and the aggregated data will be used solely for academic research purposes. Once the survey period concludes, I will be happy to share the summarized findings with you and your team.

Thank you very much for considering this request. I am genuinely appreciative of your support in contributing to the advancement of knowledge in early childhood education.

If you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to reach out to me at stallingsl21@students.ecu.edu.

Warm regards,

LaToya Stallings MPA Graduate Student East Carolina University
